@rotecch77, i noticed a constructed overhead tank in this picture. Can you help with answer to this question:

I got a quote of using 3inches galvanized pipe for 19feet overhead water tank. Iam thinking that if i go for using 2 inches, i can reduce the cost. What do you think?. Can using 2 inches galvanized pipe be ok for a 19 feet overhead water tank?. I have actually done a little survey and reseach at a shop selling galvanized pipes and i was told that the one and half inch pipe can do the job and that 2 or 3 inches pipe is an overkill.

In addition, what capacity of rubber water tank is ideal to be mounnted on the various inches of pipe.

11/2 thick galvernized pipe is suitable for 250/1000 gallon tank,
2" thick pipe is best suitable for 1000-1800 gallon, while 3" galvernized pipe good for 1800-2500

Bros how much is this bath tub with the shower head and the water tank?.do u sell pumping machine(Lorenzo)?

Why did they not put the water tank on the roof of that house.is there any disadvantage?.

@euromillion, long time,the bath tub complete with the mixer tap is N40,000 (both the two are european stuff,not china made) water tanks is 23,000, which type of lorenzo water pump do you need (surface,surbmersible and the capacity,this will determin the price)lastly the tank there is placed on the top of the building. ... I haven't seen the person you sent to me.

On the bold, what is your advise?. I will soon need a water pumping machine. What do you advise and what is ideal for a any capacity. What i mean is that you advise here on the type that will be suitable for a capacity. For instance, you can say, machine xxxx surface/surbmersible is ideal for 1000 gallons/liters of water.

@euromillion;surbmersible pump are mainly for bore hole, and surface pump is for surface work,but in area where there is shalow bore hole and the water level is rise enough surface pump can be use there.......,so 1hp pump can be use for bore hole of 90-150ft while 1.5hp pump can be use in area of 150-250ft. By this 1000 gallon of tank will filed up in 30min

Thanks. I can understand the increase in the prices. The project is not in Lagos. It is in the village somewhere in Edo North. So prices are bound to be different between the nearest place of purcahse and Lagos. Usually, i buys things in Lagos and transport home but i cannot buy this pipes and transport there. If i buy in Lagos and transport, i might end up spending more.

Let me take up the guy on the numbers he quoted for lenghts.
