MabraO: Ugbe is mostly used by children/youth. have you ever heard an old man/woman asking somebody to bring 'ugbe' instead they say, bring 'okuta'. You asked a question, you should have waited for an answer instead of assuming......... If you must know, I'm full blooded Benin. |

there is a lot of similarities in our native languages in Nigeria. for example: Yoruba and Hausa, yoruba : olele while in Hausa: alele, Yoruba: isana, Hausa: asana. Yoruba : igbalumo, Hausa: Agbalumo... 1 Like |

To start with, BLOOD: Igbo call OBARA while Akwa ibom call UBARA. CORN-Igbo-oka, BENIN- okha. give us those u know please there is no language called AKWA-IBOM. That state has more than one dialect.
