ASSISTANT TECHNICAL MANAGER (CORE NETWORKS)
Key Responsibilities


Responsible for technical solutions within the KAM organisation
Identifying customer needs and new sales opportunities
Planning and promoting the introduction of new products and releases
Conducting technical marketing by presenting technical solutions/products to customer
Preparing technical marketing solutions for offers and solution description documents
Analysis of technical requirements and preparations of requirement specs. Towards product owners
Arranging product/solution seminars and workshops for customers
Overall responsible for technical solutions part in RFI, RFP, RFT & SoC in tenders
Overall technically responsible for the WCDMA/GSM solution and working as the main technical interface on the WCDMA/GSM solution towards the customer


General Knowledge and Skills

General knowledge of GSM/WCDMA products/solutions platforms
Good knowledge of Core Networks products and solutions
Excellent knowledge of the business environment
Good knowledge of technology evolution and standards’ bodies: 3GPP, ITU & ETSI
General telecoms and industry knowledge
Project Management skills

In addition, the successful applicants would be required to possess the following:
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in electrical/electronics engineering
Three (3) years experience in the telecoms environment

Personal Trait
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of Customer Focus and interpersonal skills
Good presentation, problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to travel within the region, work independently and effectively within a team
Ability to take responsibility, be accountable and result-oriented
