Waking up around 4:00am in the morning only to eat a bowl of pounded yam
with correct ofe egwusi.
I can fast till 9:00pm without feeling hungry be that.

indeed, we have been allowed to eat because God made the religion easy for us. Particularly important for people that do physically demanding tasks. As such you find most muslims complete the fast in ramadan. Even at that, to complete the fast for a 'lunar month still takes some degree of self discipline. Many Christians don't even know when it is lent.

I really wish the ignorant guys that talk about eating in the morning and at night during the fast would just attempt it only for 1 month. They can then sincerely come back to tell us how easy it was.
