He took hold of her hands and led her downstairs.
Linda couldn't ignor the numerous eyes staring at them and Henry was the perfect husband.
They tour the hotel. This was Linda's first time at the Hilton hotel. Henry was more than pleased to show her the pool, the resturant, and the gym.
They stopped at a boutique and bought some clothes.
When it was time for lunch, Henry took her to the resturant. They both ordered for chips and eggs. After having their filled, they left for their room.
Henry had a nap while Linda bath and changed into a red ankle length close-fitting casual dress.
She applied make-up on her face. It was light but bold. She went downstairs for a walk. She walked around and thought of a way to change Henry the way Tara had changed Jordan.
A hand touched her shoulders. It forced her back to reality.
'hy beautiful'
a male voice said. She turned and found herself staring at a man maybe a year her senior.
Linda knew money when she saw it. This man got a lot of it. He was dressed in a black suit and a pair of oxfords. Linda couldn't help but notice how handsome he was.
He smiled at her. Linda smiled back.
'i'm Martins Terry, and you are?'
'Linda James'
she remembered that she can't bear James anymore.
'oh sorry, Linda Joseph'
'really?'
he asked her.
'yep'
she replied.
'are you a model?'
'nope. Got to go mr, it's nice meeting you'
She turned to go, the man drew her to him. She tried to escape but he only held her firmly.
'free for dinner?'
'no'
'oh, what about breakfast?'
'no'
'do you know who i am?'
'who are you?'
'never mind. Please, i have never begged in my life for a woman. You have exactly what i want in a woman. Create an hour for me'
Linda laughed. She raised her right hands to his face.
'see, i'm married'
'you seemed tired of it'
'i got married yesterday to the man i love'
She turned to go. He drew her to him. The two stared at each other intently.
'get your hands off my wife'
Linda heard Henry said. He went to the man, to get Linda. The man refused to let go of her left hands.
Henry, filled with the Joseph temper gave the man a blow on the nose.
Terry let go of Linda to survey his bleeding nose.
'don't ever get close to my wife . I won't warn you again'
he drew Linda to him and kissed her in anger before taking her away.
'never you leave the comfort of our room without me'
he told her.
'I'm not a child Henry, i can take good care of myself'
'oh, i see, like you did back there? I don't care who that man is or is not. You are mine and no one dare take you away from me'
Linda decided to remain mute. He smiled at her.
'it's time for your suprise Linda. Come let me show you. It just came'
he led her to the parking lot and stood in front of a dark blue Honda civic. It so much remainded her of the one she sold, except this one looked new.
'Linda, do you like this car?'
'it won't matter Henry'
'it will, because it's yours'
'mine? You got this for me?'
'yea my sweetypie. This is my wedding present to you'
Linda didn't look happy. She stood there staring at her husband as if he was daft.
'don't you like it?'
'it's not that. Are you not being extravagant? We just got married and i'm sure it costs huge amount of money.
We bought a house which you won't tell me the price. And now you just got a car for me'
'Linda, don't fret, we will be okay'
'take it back, we will use the money for something else'
'i sold my flat, i removed from the money to get the car for you'
'Henry we have a kid to rise. A future to prepare for. Promise me we won't be extravagant'
'I promise. But you have to take the car. I will be offended if you don't'
she ran to him for a hug. Henry spread his arms in welcome.
'thanks sugar'
'you havn't called me that for a long time'
He gave her the keys. She drove out with him for a joyride.
They didn't see Terry stare at them.

(chuckles and burst into laughter ) Terry or whoever, quit staring and get a Kleenex for your nose.
