SifuWhite, I was made to understand that "Qinna" are a set of arresting or locking techniques.

I trained Eagle claw Kung fu for 7 years and Kung fu Sansoo for 4 years, Qinna is highly emphasized on in Eagle claw kung fu, so you saying "Qinna strike" is confusing.

I trained for 3 months at the Shaolin temple in Henan when I was doing my research on the history of hand to hand combat, I also trained for 1 month at the STI (Shaolin Temple India) when I was in India for a year and Both institutions also described Qinna as a set of "Limb Locking" techniques.

I don't actively train Shaolin Pai Kung fu so I'm not an authority figure oo the style, but I still practise the Yijing jing and the Iron palm which are both standard techniques from Shaolin till today.
