m also a newbie in catfish farming!!...buh ve bn workn as a supervisor for abt 2months now, so i tink i can share some few tnz!!!.....d 3 most important tnz abt fish farming r d 3Fs i.e d fish, feed nd flow(water) |

u nid to purchase gud fish dt r very healthy nd dt will grow fast within d shortest time...buy ur fingerlings or juveniles frm reputable sources, avoid buyin runts!! secondly is d feed, my advice z to go for foreign feeds such as coppens or ziegler for d first 3 to 4 months nd den at d latter stage u can switch to local feed lik vital feed or topfeed to save feedin cost..buh if u can kip dem on foreign feed thru out, dt wud b d best d 3rd point nd d most important z d water...u nid to ensure ur water z clean all d time, if u ve d capacity to change ur pond water daily pls do!!...clean water will make dem eat well, prevent diseases nd sickness!!...u shud also try to wash ur pond and treat d pond atleast once in a month....also ensure u gv vitamins nd antibiotics once in a yl...all dz r preventive measures |

Am a pro in it..in that i studied it,did more programmes on it in NIOMR VI LAGOS N ARAC PH RIVERS STATES..its lucrative but u hv to take it easy n remove fixed costs so as not to be confused |
