Hello friends,
Let us Farmgist! Let us discuss on how to increase productivity and reduce cost of production while maximizing output. There some simple ways of achieving that.
We know that agriculture sector is one of the most important sectors that plays a vital role on the economy of a country. So we need to take responsible steps for the agricultural growth. Using of fertilizers, agrochemical products, etc are among the key factors on which agricultural productivity depend at large. These key ingredients help to reduce the undermining threats from pest and insects. Now many agrochemical products like pesticides, insecticides and fungicides aid not only to control the pest but also help to develop the physical characteristics of plants. Therefore these products are extensively being recommended to farmers for applying these in their fields in order to increase the overall crop productivity.

The reason for applying agrochemical products

The main reason for applying these products is to reduce the pest related risks. They are very time-effective for they can save time when used as weed removal. If we are to manually remove weeds on our farms, it will take much time and energy, but when we make use of herbicide products, we can remove them easily and save more time. For example if in a field require 120 hours of manual labour, it will take only 4 hours of spraying if one goes to remove it by using pesticide products. Besides, there are some pesticides that help in the development of the physical characteristics of plants. It has long term effect on the plants. That means if you use it for once then you need to use it after a certain period of time. You do not have to use it frequently.

To increase productivity you need to know these:

Exact pesticides for exact plant and in-case of weed, use correct herbicide for specific weeds.
The best time to spray
Apply the right quantity. Application should not be in excess to avoid damages and infection.
Get the manufacturer instruction on the process of using the product.
Need to attend seminar or exhibition
Follow agricultural programme broadcasted on Radio and TV agricultural events.
If possible visit internet, check on agricultural websites to collect the required information about any pesticide product before its use
Know pros and cons of the product.
When you are taking any pesticide products form pesticide chemical suppliers know detail from him about the product and the proper time to use this product.

The process of agrochemical includes three stages before application:

Weigh up the situation carefully and note down the problems of the field.
An identification of the pest is needed. So collect some specimens and show it to the experts.
After identification chalk out or try to learn the most appropriate pesticide products for it and then find out if there is any cheap substitute for it.
All these key factors will help you to increase your productivity.
