Yayyy! My dad has a palm farm. Following earnestly.

First, I found this manual on the internet, interesting read:

http://www.fao.org/docrep/006/t0309e/T0309E00.htm

It was written in the 70s. Would like to hear some thoughts from more experienced farmers about some of the things it discusses

Oh, also, you just reminded me. I'm talking to this company in Malaysia about a ERP software they use to manage palm farm business. ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning software. (My father is trying to reap the benefits of the information science degree he helped pay for wink )

Initially, he wanted one called HarvestIt by Microsoft (http://www.ibspl.com/harvest_it_more.html), but I'm having trouble getting a hold of a copy (mtchew stingy company)

Let's stop complaining that machinery isn't available. Machinery has bn available and bn upgraded for decades now. My question to plantation experts: Can palm tree plantation perform good in Kogi state?

Machines are readily available. Upgraded machineries are also available. There are engineers in the house.
