Confess, Forsake Idolatry Or Forget Re-election •prophet Tells Aregbesola by zik4ever: 9:08am On Jul 09, 2014
Osun state Governor, Rauf Aregbesola has been urged to “publicly confess and forsake idolatry” or forget his second term bid in the August 9 election.

The Founder and General Overseer of Hour of Mercy Prayer Ministry (HMPM), Prophet Muhideen Moses Kasali, made this call during a monthly programme on the Breakthrough Mountain in Ibadan.

He said God was not pleased that the governor had embraced idolatry and would see to Aregbesola’s re-election if and only if the governor is ready to forsake idolatry and give glory only to the Almighty.

Should Aregbesola heed the message, Prophet Kasali said the incumbent would win the election no matter the number of those contending with him.

The general overseer had declared that Mr Ayodele Fayose would coast home to victory in Ekiti days before the election held on June 21.

He, however, called for prayers for Ekiti so that fire outbreak would not rage in the state and the nefarious activities of the Boko Haram spread to the South-West through the state.

The cleric also called for prayers in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo states over massive flooding that would wash away human beings and properties in the states.

Kasali also called on Nigerians to pray fervently for President Goodluck Jonathan and the Vice-President, Alhaji Namadi Sambo.

Prophet Kasali said the prayer was necessary to avert a fire disaster that would send the duo packing from Aso Rock, asking Nigerians to seek the face of God to avert the disaster.
