the first goal should have been a red card and a freekick cos the ball was gaol bound....arjen reuben was offside before delivering that cross for the second goal..unfortunately brasil find themselves a huge mountain to climb..

thegoodjoehunt: I will always stand for replay technology to be brought into football. Two wrong calls from the referee has caused Brazil to be down by two goals.

One was not a penalty and the second one was supposed to be blown offside.

I feel sad for Brazil.
On the 2nd goal, the Dutch player was just 2cm offside. Even if they use video replay, the Ref will be hesitant to rule the play offside.

The ref has given two players a yellow card each...So I hope it doesn't turn out to be red card for both in the 2nd half, cos that would difinetly change the course of the game.

It was a wrong call. The contact was outside the box. If the referee wants to send him off, that would not be a wrong call. He should make the right call. Like it or not the red card would have been better for Brazil than a penalty.

Giannakopoulos: which good team did neymar play against,and what was the results when he was there ,brazil couldn't win Mexico,Chile(except during penalty),they only won Cameroun and croatia who are mediocre teams,so think technically b4 u rate neymar and don't be a fanatic!

The over praising of Neymar has bred jealousy and individualism among the samba boys!
They seriously need to go back to the drawing board?

After the goal was scored, there was a celebration. At that time, the fifth official in the Camera room would have watched the replay. As they are celebrating the goal, the referee would rule no goal offside. Even if it was one millimeter, he was offside.


I hope video replay technology comes in.
