Highlife and Juju maestro, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey,
has every
reason to smile and feel fulfilled, not only as a
musician this time but
also as an academnician too as Olabisi Onabanjo
University (OOU) conferred on him (
Ebenezer Obey) the honour of Professor of
Music and is also expected to be a visiting artiste in
the
department of English and performing arts.
The conferment which held on Monday at the Otunba
Gbenga Daniel Hall, main campus of the university.
Ebenezer Obey by the honour, is expected to lecture
students on music. Dignitaries present at the
ceremony include the Alake of Egba land, Oba
Adedotun Gbadebo; Osile of Oke-Ona, Oba Adedapo
Tejuosho, and Iyalode Alaba lawson, amongst others.
