Hi Phammyus, this looks like a 2002 model to me, the 2004 model has exhaust on both sides, check the VIN to confirm. I used to own this very model. Good luck.

It doesn't look like a 2004 to me as well, the 2004 model does have 2 exhaust as stated by hounslow, see attached pic

After much research i can confidently say it's not a 2004, it could be a 2003 but definitely not a 2004, the backlight is also different

So also is the front, see underneat, i'm not crucifying you phammyus as i'm sure it's an honest mistake

Let's not forget that the VIN also verifies the model/manufacture year not just salvage or accident scenarios. I'm not a car expert but I too had checked the picture of the 2004 model online yesterday. I have a strong feeling that this is a honest mistake, all the best with your business.

Doesn't require much research actually.
The physical outlook of exhaust pipes tells the whole story, even from afar.
Pre-2004 models are like those of Honda Pilot, both at the right corner of rear (as seen in published pics under this Thread).
2004+ models present physically separated dual exhaust systems (seen at both/opposite ends of the rear).

I recently got an MDX through this Forum. In course of the transaction, Yahoo! (and one bugybugy) almost derailed the seller's Thread by insisting my 2004 model (at 36K mileage!) was too expensive at N3.7m. In his words, "This MDX landing cost to your door in Nigeria should not be more than 2.8m (Sellers profit of $2000 included)."
