These delicious chewy oat cookies are very easy to make and a delight for kids.

INGREDIENTS:

Oats 500g
Flour 3 cups
Margarine 250g
Sugar 200g
Baking powder 2teaspoon
Eggs 4 medium size
Flavour 1 teaspoon

METHOD:

Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy,
Add the eggs and flavor to the creamed margarine and sugar, mix thoroughly,
Add the flour and the baking powder and mix properly,
Add the oat, mix until it forms a dough,
Using your hands cut into round balls.
Flatten with the side of your palm.
Place in a greased and lightly floured baking tray,
Bake until it becomes golden brown.
Serve with a glass of milk or any beverage of your choice.
Store any left over (if any in an airtight container)
