TEACHING PRINCIPLES AND METHODS - In the learning process, emphases are to be laid more on the teaching variables. For example, for the child student to learn, the teaching process which involves most importantly the teacher and other factors such as the school, the environment, texts, the social inequality among students etc must be prudently emphasized. Sometimes, one begin to ask question like this, if the Nigeria Primary and Secondary Education is on the decline? I mean how we judge the fact that after the completion of the normal six to five years secondary schooling, the child student still might not have fully embraced the full realities of the norms or come to good romance with the values place on education in Nigeria. This means that at the long run, the purpose for which the system itself was set up has been defeated.

If this is true, then the question is what must have gone wrong? Are they the faults of the teachers, the government educational policies or our parents who have placed less value on Education?

I would love to share my opinion on the subject matter and see how effective learning could be facilitated by effective teaching.
TEACHING

Teaching has been seen as the linking of a subject matter and the learner. It involves a process of making a learning acquire skills, ideas, knowledge and experience. As some would rightly say, it is a process of guiding learner in an organized Educational Institution. (School)
