Janet Jackson First Ramadan Fast Since Conversion

Janet Jackson switch to Islam last year after marriage to Qatari billionaire businessman Wissam al Mana in 2012, reports revealed that Janet Jackson is observing her first Ramadan fast since she joined “Muslim Club” as the Western world calls it.

International Business Times, IBT, UK, reports that the 48-year-old American pop star, who was raised in a Christian family, is observing the on-going Ramadan fast with her husband in Qatar.

Her marriage to al Mana is her third marriage and her last major media appearance was in a Tyler Perry film, ‘Why Did I Get Married?’

Islam is not new to the Jackson family as her elder brother Jermaine, in 1989 publicly announced his conversion to Islam after a tour of the Middle East. He then became Muhammad Abdul-Aziz.
