Why Say ''REST IN PEACE'' when you don't mean it? by Eberex(m): 2:54pm On Jul 25, 2014 |
When a person dies, whether its someone we know or don't know, we tend to say ''rest in peace'' or ''RIP''. Does it have any effect on the person's soul? Or is it just a formality? Even at that I would prefer it coming from people who knows the deceased very well and not just from a bunch of strangers, at least you will know how sincere they are with the word. So do you mean it when you say ''rest in peace'' or its just something that has to be said. |

Its mere formality. Just like when you say "good morning" when you could care less how the person's entire lifetime turns out 1 Like |
