A fiery team of fully armed operatives from SSS swooped on the Ojodu headquarters of the Research & Marketing Services Limited (RMS), a leading Market Research Agency in West and Central Africa, which is currently conducting a public opinion and exit polls for the Osun Gubernatorial elections coming up in 15 days time.

The operatives, before sealing up the office harassed and arrested staff, and also confiscated undisclosed documents, laptops, phones and other electronic devices from the company. The menacingly-looking operatives refused to grant any interview, simply saying “orders from above”.

The clamp-down is believed to be a desperate response by the PDP Federal Government to abort outcome of the scientific and comprehensive public opinion poll being conducted over the last 10 weeks across the length and breadth of the 30 Local Government Areas of Osun and the Area Office at Modakeke.

The question on the lips of stakeholders now is: “WHO IS AFRAID OF THE VOICES OF THE MASSES?” Why is the PDP stifling attempts to scientifically document the opinion of the broad spectrum of Osun Voters?

The integrity and accuracy of previous RMS polls across 26 countries including Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Cameroun, Senegal, Kenya and DRC have been indisputable and unparalleled in the last 34-years.

For all I care the two candidate in Osun state are not the best for the state.the coming back of Aregbe will be worst than the present.what is the antecedent of Omisore.what can he do differently.for all I know Osun state election if fair and free ,the outcome can't predicted now.if we could ve a strong party with a strong candidate both omisore and Aregbe can't get far.the preferred candidate in osun would be one dt can put back the smile taken away by aregbe on the face of the citizen
