All is now set for the golden jubilee of the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Special Duties, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem who clocks 50 years on Sunday, July27, 2014.

According to the committee of friends of the celebrator, events lined up that day for the historic celebration include a Thanksgiving Service on Sunday by 9am at the Power City International Church, 98 Nwaniba Rd, Uyo, to be closely followed by a grand reception at Ibom Hall, IBB Avenue, Uyo, on the same date by 2pm.

Already, numerous encomiums are pouring in from friends, family members, colleagues and admirers of the quintessential politician with many describing him as an accomplished technocrat who has been a loyal and committed team member of the Godswill Akpabio uncommon transformation team.

The event which is tagged a celebration of God’ Exceeding Grace at 50, will have as special guest of Honour, the State Governor Chief Godswill Akpabio, while the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Udom Emmanuel will chair the occasion.

Accordingly, the Committee of Friends, on behalf of the celebrator, invites top government functionaries, captains of industries, the organized private sector, leaders of thought, permanent secretaries and heads of extra ministerial departments, past and present political office holders in the state, members of the fourth estate of the realm, royal fathers, women and youth groups in the state, and indeed the good people of Akwa Ibom State to celebrate with the family of Barr. Enoidem at the auspicious occasion.

Barr. Enoidem, a retired University Don, joined the State Executive Council in July 2007 when he was appointed the pioneer commissioner for Housing and Urban Renewal in the Akpabio administration.

The Etim Ekpo-born politician is currently at the helms of affairs at the Special Duties Ministry, having previously served as the chairman of Etim Ekpo local government area in 1997, as well as treasurer of the State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP.
