I kinda wonder why Theists fear to admit it or just plainly deny it cos it makes their "loving" God look wicked.

It's understandable though, I was once there so I know how it feels. However, the realization of the truth became the taproot of the doubt that eventually grew into what I now am: a Freethinker.

The things is, we now live in a World where inventions and discoveries dominate a huge part of us which the people of the ancient World would never have imagined.

Take for example the discovery of micro-organism. The Bible, Qur'an and other Holy Books only emphasized on the existence of Living Things visible to eyes of the ancient men. We hear of "The birds of the sky" "The beasts and fishes of the sea" "The beasts of the land" and "Man." No one ever talked of micro-organism like Bacteria, Viruses, or even Fungi that is visible to man and other Pathogens. These things further bolster and corroborate the fact that the writings seen in these Holy Books merely reflects the views of the men of ancient not of a supposed all-knowing God.

To hammer more nails to the coffin, lets analyze the existence an organism (or better still, "creation" and let your conscience and commonsense take it from there.

* EBOLA VIRUS AND INFECTION: Many of us look at this as just a "mere disease" and forget the root cause of it.



EBOLA VIRUS is a Living Organism; a Living Thing and by religious standards, it is a Creature. It travels in hosts, infects its victims in the most cruel of ways and sends them to their early graves in a matter of weeks or even days!

Did God Really Create Ebola Virus??

That question should bother you a bit.

We know that to this Virus, it is merely feeding and trying to survive not minding the fact that it is ruining the life of another organism. But the question remains:

According to Holy Books (e.g Genesis 1:26-30) we are created in the Image and Likeness of God, right? And we are giving dominion over all the animals and plants, right?

Why then did God create Ebola Virus?

Some of you might be quick to assert that God didn't create Ebola Virus in other to maintain the "Loving Father" status you give to your God but we shouldn't let Emotions deter the progression of Facts, should we? And since our emotions don't go well with a Loving Father creating a destructive Ebola Virus (Yes, God created all THINGS; Living Things included (Revelation 10:6)) what option does that leave us with?

Some of you, however, will take it as "God's punishment for man's wickedness" OMG, how could you!!!!?

Isn't Hell Fire enough? Isn't Everlasting Death enough? Isn't Losing The Garden enough? Isn't Eve's Curse enough? Isn't Adam's Curse enough? Don't Innocent Children die in the process? Is God that incompetent!!

Gosh!! How could people become so inhumane and unreasonable just to justify a belief in a God??

The Truth Is:

The fabricators of those religions, being ancient and oblivious to proper knowledge of modern discoveries, only named their invented, imaginary God the creator of things they saw that existed (Humans, Animals and Plants) and things they imagined existed (Spirits, Heavens, e.t.c) and not things that would later be discovered; things they never knew.

This is further proof that religion is just a handiwork of men and the God concept is just imaginary. And as qstar rightly said, it dies a natural death when scientific discoveries and made!

Just think about that before coming to bash me, ok?
