The first barrier to turning an idea into a business is the one you need to overcome for yourself. If you're not excited by the idea, you're not going to work long months bringing it to fruition. If you are not convinced by the idea, you won't be able to convince others about it.

Capture your ideas on paper and leave it until the next day. If you go to bed with the idea and wake up still eager about it, you might be onto a winner.
