I mean how true is this, its absurd... APC leader, Senator Bola Tinubu has directed Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola to dethrone the Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuade and Timi of Ede, Oba Muniru Adesola Lawal for allegedly supporting Sen Iyiola Omisore and Hon Adejare Bello. Tinubu, who was said to have been miffed by the statement reportedly made by the Ooni of Ife when President Goodluck Jonathan visited on Saturday, said; "Ooni was never an honest Oba and that was why I said only three Yoruba Obas (Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba of Lagos and one other) were credible. That one other is not the Ooni and he (Ooni) knows it. "You (Aregbesola) must teach the duo of Ooni and Timi a lesson after you must have won the Saturday election. Dethrone them and nothing will happen!" Why peddling such falsehood because election is around the corner? Do you think the Ooni is such a small fish that the Federal government can toy with let alone a state governor? Even if it was possible, Ogbeni wouldn't be that unwise to carry out such order... |
