After eating the 5 chocolates,you then use 3 wrappers to get another chocolate.(You have 20+1=21 chocolates)

Now remember,you only used 3 wrappers out of the 5 chocolates you ate earlier.So add the 2 remaining wrapper with the wrapper of the last chocolate you ate and you have 3 wrappers which you will use to get your last chocolate(And you have 21+1=22 Chocolates).
