I've been hearing of castor for long time, but have not seen anything serious coming out of it.
We were asked to go and farm and invest our money without market assurance.

Mhhhm this is deep! But Nigerian politicians can be sensible when they are out of power.
I experiment on castor seed, heard they have a union that controls it here in Nigeria. Its a poisonous crop yet life saving. We only hope for the best

yea castor is called ugba in anambra igbo. the plant it very poisonous and it needs guidance on how to farm it safely and successfully.

i saw castor seed being intercropped with cassava at abaakpu nkwele, anambra in large quantities. i was wondering if we had d mkt. wat was on my mind was ogiri. i didnt know d oil can be refined.

it is also widely cultivated in and around achalla axis, not as a mono crop but inter cropped with either cassava or yam

My respect for this man, Audu Ogbhe is up a notch. It's even better to know that he's a top member of a potential party in power.

One only hopes such thoughtful expositions can be brought to bear in policy making and implementation.
