Many of us are complaining of
decline in Nigerian education but
look at the crux of the matter:
Rewards in entertainment
MTN project fame: N7.5m + SUV;
Etisalat Nigerian Idol: N5m + multimillion Naira Contract
Glo naija sings: N5m + SUV
Gulder ultimate search: N10m plus
endorsements;
Footballers earn millions of dollars
Politicians with SSCE earns millions Rewards in education:
COWBELL Mathematics competition:
just N100k
Spelling Bee: just N50k
School Scrabble: just N25k
CoolFM spelling game: just a goodie bag filled with Amila drink
Also, considering the fact that
teachers and lecturers earn far less
compared to what politicians earn.
Then tell yourself the truth, why will
the youths not neglect education for entertainment? By Wale Olajumoke
Source observed that over
80percent of those who are
collecting multi-million Naira deal
from the big firms are dropouts and
all kinds of characters. But nothing for students who do well in
education. It’s either we call for
national reorientation or the
education system in the country will
continue to suffer. Simple!

that's it ooo. Infact sometimes, one feels like y would I waste 4,5,6 even 7 yrs of one's life in a uni and end up looking for job for years again..its devastating. Its better one go learn a trade for dos yrs...atleast u won't have to be looking for job again and its pays to be an employer than an employee..#rest ma case#
