There is dis frnd of mine dat doesn't knw how to pray, during morning devotion bn d first child of d family he do leads d prayer' so after d first nd second lines my bro will start saying gibberish,nonsense, is really serious and I tink dis is d best place where he can get tremendous solution for his problem............."please help a brother" God bless you all.

Matthew 6:5-15

[b]Verse 5. When you pray, don’t be religious about it. Don’t recite long, flowery prayers in public, where everyone can hear. When you do that, who are you really talking to?

[b]Verse 6. If you’re going to talk to God, go to a quiet, private place and just talk to Him. And even though you can’t see Him, He sees you. And He’ll honor your personal, heart-felt conversation by responding to you in ways that confirm that He heard you.

Verse 7. Just try to be yourself. There’s something false and impersonal about reciting the same, old, tired, worn-out formulas. Remember, the Father responds to sincerity, not the length of the prayer.

Verse 8. So don’t be like those who have no relationship with a real God, Who lives and sees and hears. They repeat the same words over and over again to lifeless images that can’t respond. Your Father is much different than that. He knows what you need, even before you ask.

How to Have a Private Personal Conversation with The Father and What to Talk About When You are in His Presence

Verse 9. So, when you talk to God, this is how you should talk to Him and what you should talk about. Talk to your Father in Heaven like you would talk to your earthly father, with affection and respect. Only acknowledge that He deserves an honor and respect greater than any man.

Verse 10. Then affirm to Him again that you want His Kingdom revealed in your life. And tell Him that you only want what He wants, so His will can be seen here on the earth just like it is in His Heavenly domain.

Verse 11. Ask Him to give you just what you need for today.

Verse 12. And ask Him to forgive you of your faults and mistakes and the offenses they’ve caused. Then tell Him you understand that His forgiveness is determined by your own willingness to forgive those who have offended you.

Verse 13. And finally, ask Him to protect you from yourself and from all the evil that surrounds you in the world.

Verses 14, 15. And remember if you’re willing to forgive others, then your Heavenly Father will forgive you. But, if you’re not willing to forgive others, neither will your Heavenly Father be willing to forgive you.[/b][/b]

Note that the bolded red is very vital for our prayer activities. It is clear that in group prayers we try to please those who are listening as we pray and that makes us to be insincere before God. For example, maybe this your brother is sincere but now you are already complaining meanwhile this prayer is suppose to be directed to God not to you. maybe because this brother wants to speak words that will excite you who are listening then he tries to force words and turn to say things that are not in order. Group prayer can only be done under strict instructions from God for a particular purpose which He will reveal to those in the group. Same with worship, in group worship the tendency is for us to fake reverence to God since we know people are watching us but if you read the scripture very well you will realize that worship was never meant to be a group activity, it most often was a moment of repentance, but when we are doing worship we are high and faking reverence to God?

Praise can be a group as well as individual activity
