On the contrary, i see it as segregating certain topics within some selected few.
Look at it from this angle, a pdp/apc spokesperson here on nairaland initiates a misleading topic or to heat up the polity and makes sure the first pages are filled with comments of like minds. It wouldn't be a fair judgement you know.

Besides, if i want to advertise a product, sharing the link would be to the same persons i have as friends who ideally should have known about the said product. I would need inputs from different people entirely and not the same set of persons i frolic with.

Although people are clamouring for dislike button which I also feel is important I hope you also consider adding the 'Followers' header under each person's profile so that NLnders would know those that are following them and with whom they have shared info since the Share button actually shares with their followers and not those they are following.

All the same I must salute you for this development

Okay i want to ask a few questions.



1) mr A sees a topic i would like( im actually following him) he comments on that topic, then felt it good to share it with his followers. Since i follow mr A, isnt it the same thing as him leading me to the topic since he posted already?


2) the following feature is making me feel like.... I dont know. The people i follow may jst comment and comment( not complaining about that), but we know majority rarely go beyond the 1st page of this feature. Some dont even view it especially when its beyond (200, for me). Cant it be scraped and sharing put in its place. Cos i know sharing is like a better version if compared.



3) then when are we going to stay seeing who and who like comments we post?

You are the one that suppose to look into that flaw. Whenever you are about to summit a comment uncheck the "Follow box" under the comment box. If you have already followed the topic you won't see the box.
