By fertilizer I believe OP is referring to chemical fertilizer...NPK (even though there are other forms of fertilizer).

The toxic chemicals found in fertilisers can be

which is then extracted for drinking water. This water
can contain high levels of nitrates and nitrites and have

uranium are some of the toxic heavy metals that have
been found in fertilisers and can cause distrubances of
the kidneys, lungs and liver and cause cancer -

Too much fertilizer on any plant changes the colour of such plant and also affects its life span, there is no amount of manure that affect both colour and plant life span. Talking from experience as a born farmer. Thanks
