He Fell ill and died last Friday. He was ill for 3 days, then started vomiting blood with bloody diarrhoea. He was initially rushed to Prime Hospital Ph…where he was rejected and then taken to Good heart whose MD is a Cardiologist. a consultant physician with UPTH. He died there.

Was this man so blind to see havoc Ebola is causing in Nigeria and some part of the world?

As in, what's gonna happen to those he might have had contact with now?

Omg! Nigeria is doomed.

Though it looks like the doctor is greedy and all eyes are on that issue, but what of this extremely wicked diplomat who did not keep to his diplomatic ethic? Not only should this unnamed diplomat be expelled from Nigeria, his government should be called for explanation.
Lastly, I am sure the diplomat must be a blackman, a blackman with a black dirty brain. RIP, doc

To all those calling the doctor greedy, you didn't know what went down, you don't know of his relationship with the diplomat, you don't know if he was just unfortunate to have met the man and treated his as d symptoms presented which is quite similar to malaria, you don't know if he's oblivious of the fact of the man being a diplomat..there are manythings you don't know, this man tried saving a life, ended up losing his. Till we get our facts right, let's desist from calling him names.

Doctors are soo hyped, 2 for a penny, even those wey buy certificate, textbook doctors everywhere, thats why this one decided to endanger the country for whatever reasons.....vex no gree me talk sef, after we go dey shout "government wan kill us", when na we use our own hand dey kill ourselves.

Yes, nobody knows what happened, but as a medical personnel, who should be more enlightened on the risks involved, knowing that the man is a diplomat who just came into the country, why didn't he report the case...since fa. In fact,if you go pharmacy to buy malaria drugs they'll call ebola police for you, even aboki wey sell you panadol go call ebola police for you, and you are telling me a doctor decided to keep his mouth shut, and spread the virus, going as far as attending to other non-ebola patients, despite full knowledge that he had come in contact with the virus or something similar. Not until he died, that the whole thing is coming to light.

How come its our medical personnel that are being careless? thank God for some, like the late female doctor, who know their stuff.

you can not start judging a dead person based on media report. media will make it sensational because they want to sell. unfortunately the doctor is not alive to defend himself. doctors has currently been bastardised by the media and government that you will be regarded as doing good when you insult the doctor. i dont think any doctor would want to touch a patient he suspects of having EVD. tell doctor you have TB and watch his behaviour, or tell him you have HIV and see how his expression will change. believe me no doctor will touch EVD patient no matter what. In my opinion we should not bastardise the name of one that can not defend himself.

Y do u have to blame the mod for not putting it on FP ? How is the picture a real 1 ? Just google image "EBOLA DEAD VICTIM" then you will see a lot of victims , the op/source may have just copy and paste any of the image claiming that it was the PH doctor. So my brother the mods need to confirm if it was real before putting on FP , because if false someone like me and you will call them different names for wrong info on FP.
JAH BLESS

Many people are just making comments they cannot even explain here. Smh.

It's a pity, that the average African has a shallow mentality. From all indications these Liberian diplomats who've been the root cause of the spread of ebola in Nigeria, did not want to die alone.

But owing to the gravity of the situation at hand, i guess this is not the time to point accusing fingers.

On the horizon lies a potential dark cloud. The virus has started to spread slowly again, without people knowing. Now is the time to spread awareness further, and enlighten people of the real situation of things.

Wee don't want a situation where people become panicky from news spread by rumour peddlers. Resulting in a situation whereby pple decide to do absurd things, becos they are told, they can prevent the virus and so on.

We have a steep and dark road ahead... And now is the time to prepare for it!

I would keep blaming the Nigerian government for its incompetencies.

You claim that someone escaped from quarantine, yet you didn't deem it fit to inform the public there and then, to know if people can report his whereabouts. You're only telling us after he has successfully infected someone else, thereby killing the person. We just cannot trust that health minister of a person, whose only goal is to appear good to the media and international world, and playing politics with the populace in the process.

ALL OTHER DIPLOMATS THAT WERE WITH PATRICK SAWYER SHOULD BE TESTED IMMEDIATELY.
