Where do I start from?

I love when artist successfully sample other styles of music that take them outside their comfort zone! Note that I said successfully!! The song lacked originality, the video was mediocre, the choreography was forced n unnatural, the beat was something I have I heard over and over again.

Closing remark! P^2 have being churning out great singles since way bck.I respect their artistry and their courage to try new things, as we are all aware there's an associated risk of trying something new, it might fail or succeed. this one unfortunately was a "hit" and "miss" the best thing about this music n it's video is "ti" and it made the peter and paul duo sound and look like backup singers n dancers for TI.

This is my humble opinion, it's personal and it's in no way disparaging the amazing singing duo, I just expected something that would v blew us away.

safarigirl: you don't even know what I seek. I haven't liked their past 2 songs (testimony and this one) I assume you think testimony lies along 'that which I seek'....go and listen to Bring It On, that song is preferable. It doesn't sound American, neither is it local in nature.

They have done American-ish songs before, they sampled Lil Kim's song when they did Game Over and I liked that song. I just don't like this one, it's too much of all the wrong things, so don't be typing shi like you're in my head. Once again, we mustn't all like certain things.

They should leave 80's funk to Pharrell, if they want to sample an 80's song so bad, they should feel free to tap from Fela's reservoir

The video is generally pleasing to the eye, although the MJ-esque dance routines are becoming too overused. They should give it a rest and try something new.

As for the song, I really like the melody and overall tune. But the hook and chorus is bland and not taut enough. Shoulda coulda woulda been much better.

I could remember,this had been the same reaction given to 'personally' Testimony' and all their previous songs, then at the end,u see people sweating their a.s.s off dancing to these songs in the club.Same reaction giving to any new songs released by any artiste.My question is...Are Nigerians musically confused?
