if you plan to work in Nigeria, cardiology like all other specialities under internal medicine is stressful.
I cant comment on its satisfaction or financial comfort.
a resident in internal medicine can answer those.
have you thought of radiology? its not that stressful and its the future of medicine.
prospects after residency are very good.
I know a snr colleague in abuja who earns over a million a month in a private place.

so its your choice.

If you're in for job satisfaction, cardiology is the right place, or pulmonology.
Cardiology will hopefully evolve to include interventional procedures in Nigeria. Nephrology is a dead end, and gastro (at least for the foreseeable future).
But have you considered there are far fewer dermatologists than the country needs?

..I think Neurology is gonna be a hot cake too...We have very few neurologist or neuro-surgeon in Nigeria....in our universities, we have very few neuro- lecturers too...

...I think it depends on the one you have passion for and the one you think will be easy for you.....

Pls I'm also in the line. Between gynacology & surgery, which one will be good for a doctor that wants to work in f.m.c and also lecture in a teaching hospital @the same time. And which of them is the more lucrative??
