I chose political science,but I did not meet the departmental cut off mark of 66,I had 64 instead, do I still stand a chance of being admitted in the second batch admission list

Admission quota is a major factor. If political science had a quota of 100, and if d number of candidates dat made d cut-off was below d quota(say like 60 candidates), den there's a 40 deficit on d quota. So definitely, d 2nd batch wld accomodate candidates dat didn't meet d merit cut-off, but surely came close enuf.

Don't also forget dat some candidates dat made d merit cut off wld likely be screened out due to wrng subjects combination, and incomplete O'level results. So u still stand a chance!

But I'l advise u get a C.O.C jst to be on a safe side. U cld wait til d 1st list is out b4 u decide on getn d C.O.C. If after 5th of september d list isn't out, kindly fill d C.O.C online!

Íf u guys are many, I guess oda criteria like utme score cld be employed in choosing d number of candidates for d 2nd batch. Well, ur 69 is good enuf to secure u d course in 2nd batch

Well, normally it shldnt. In UI, when u fill a C.O.C, u're imploring admission office to kindly offer u ur chosen fall back courses......in case d quota alloted to ur desired(dream) course is fully utilized(meaning if there won't be 2nd list for d course). But if there was still space left in CLA, admission office wld include ur name in CLA 2nd list, cos outright, dat's wat u chose!

I'm nt sure wat dis admission quota is. But last year's quota was likely 80+.
