What has ibo built and called Nigerian? Go and set up yours and call it anything you want. Enough of your greed coated envy. You are more tribalistic than any Yoruba out there. Yoruba always take every tribe along but, this is cultural, and can only be Yoruba history. We have chinese, Italian and others who showcase their heritage, and Yoruba is not an exception. Nigeria is a geographical expression with so many different cultures. No amounts of arm twisting and blackmail will keep us waiting for your people to catch up. You will not hold us down anymore. Yoruba must keep moving on, waiting for your tribe has kept us stagnant, and it's not as if you appreciate it, you insult us after each mouthful of rock-textured Akpu, after all we have done, so to your tents oh Israel. Enahi: Great idea, how about a London village in Lagos too? The truth is always bitter,Yorubas are yet to develop their villages in Nigeria filled with red roofs, bad roads etc and they are busy creating a beautiful village in another Man's Land. Charity begins at home......haba!!! so there are no villages in other parts of 9ija with all these attributes. 1 Like |

Systeme101: When wil wen stop fooling ourselves? and how does this contribute to solving the problems of an average nigerian?....dis is capital flight nd a shame! the average Nigerian with tribalism entrenched in his soul, the average Nigerian who is always bitter and would not see anything in good light, the average Nigerian that would litter everywhere with pure water sachet, the average Nigerian who doesn't give a damn about his neighbours. Is it that one or which one?? It's always easy to see wrongs everywhere but It's an helluva task to do the right thing. #MyOpinion |

LasGidiOwner: I think we yorubas are laid-back just take a look below after all the so called first TV, first storey building etal..What happens now? We are simply a backward region! We should learn to accept the fact! Should we be proud that our urban centers are like this as shown below? LasGidiOwner: ..and this is how they left our own yoruba cities to lie prostrate! My yoruba people have lost it! LasGidiOwner: ...I sincerely weep for my yoruba people! Don't they sell cement and zinc in our region again? Below is our GRA in Ibadan! Smh Will you Shut-da-Fck-Up? Useless Omo-Ibo that is not proud of his tribe and has to ASSUME A YORUBA IDENTITY! You think its difficult to identify "lost souls" like you who masquerade around pretending they are Yorubas? Just read all the posts of this nitwit and you would be left in no doubt that he is one of those FLAT HEADS who abandoned their erosion-ridden and cockroach infested region, to seek the GOLDEN EGG in Yoruba-land. I am Yoruba and l and very very proud of it. Yes, we do have 'slums' that needs further development (even London, America and other parts of Europe have slums that would make Ibadan or Abeokuta brown roofs a subject of envy, trust me on that, l have seen it all) ... but Rome was not built in a day. We will CONTINUE TO IMPROVE our lot in life, let the Refugees from the East keep coming, it just shows we are miles ahead of them! If Nigerians run abroad to seek paradise, why wont some ungrateful Flat-head who runs to Ibadan to seek paradise, run his mouth on Nairaland (another Yoruba platform!)? Please, "if the FOX dies, it is not in the place of the CHICKEN to come and mourn him" And to think that you are so ashamed of your own people to assume a Yoruba 'handle'? Olooshi, its is your FLAT HEAD PEOPLE that have lost the Plot. ONLY A BASTARD CHILD USES A LEFT HAND TO POINT TO HIS FATHER'S HOUSE!...... This foolish "flat head" refugee could not even afford to live in the "cool areas" of Ibadan..... I am sure he sat on the "attachment Seat" of Ekene Dili Chukwu, when stowed-away to Ibadan! SHOE GET SIZE, Right? Go Yoruba, Go! More Grease to our Elbow. Lastpage! 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Malawian: i guess i should have added "pirated" for maximum effectWhat does he mean "pirated"? There's been a Yoruba village, Oyotunji, in America since the 70's. "America built an Igbo village for us" is a big lie. It was built by Anambra State and I think it's somewhat like a museum show-piece. This one, like Chinatown and the others(which were not bulit by America by the way), I hope would be intended to drive commerce. I'm sick of being neighbours to people who will attack anything good that has Yoruba written on it. Here is what another SICK Igbo said about the village on the punch's website: "Nonsence, another avenue for joblessness for yoruba people to meet to gossip, eat ,do owambe party. Nothing meaningfull will ever be done through this center. I’ve not seen a race outside the shores of nigeria that hates themselves like the yoruba race, so why pretend . Awolowo has cursed the yoruba race, thats why the smart once among you like Hubert ogunde, mko abilola gbenga adeboye once said ‘ omo yoruba ronu’." The hate and envy. |
