The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the North-West zone yesterday unanimously endorsed President Goodluck Jonathan to run for the 2015 presidential election.

This is coming just as Vice President Namadi Sambo has called on aggrieved members of the PDP who defected to the opposition party to listen to the voice of reason and return to the Party’s fold.

A communiqué read at the end of a PDP North-West Zone stakeholders meeting in Kaduna and unanimously adopted by stakeholders of the party in the zone urged President Jonathan to contest the 2015 presidential election.

The communiqué, which was read by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Amb. Aminu Wali noted the achievements of the Jonathan administration in both the socio economic and political segments of the country, particularly in the North-West Zone.
