The war against terrorism continues in Borno State, as Nigerian
Army repelled a massive Boko Haram attack on Bama hours
ago. According to SaharaReporters, the terrorists targeted
Bama, which is a strategic city with the population of about
500,000 people.

The insurgents intend to seize the city in order to expand the so-
called ‘Caliphate’ with the centre in Gwoza town, declared by
Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau in a recent video message.

Nevertheless, the attack caused panic and numerous residents,
including the Emir of Bama are fleeing to Maiduguri, the capital of
Borno State. They have to make a 40-mile-long (64 km) extremely
dangerous journey by A4 road before they reach more or less secure
area.

It would be noted that Boko Haram terrorists have switched from
mass bombings, kidnappings and random raids to another tactics,
similar to what the Islamic State is doing on the territory of Iraq
and Syria.
Nigerian terrorists control Gwoza , Gamboru Ngala and dozens of
smaller settlements in Borno State. The insurgents conduct mass
killings of residents, especially those who refuses to follow their
way.

They are also building up their strength by capturing military and
law-enforcement objects, bases and armories. Thus, the staff of riot
police Academy on the outskirts of Gwoza reportedly serve as
instructors to sect’s fighters for fear of horrible death.

Why making excuses for the incompetent? Is it not his job to avoid such situations? Haven't you seen other countries where far less happen but the officials resign?
If he has no idea how to deal with it, let him resign and let someone who can do it. It's that simple.

Nothing of such magnitude happened in Bama, the alarmists are here again. Some of the few virgin hunters that visited Bama today have been reunited with their virgins courtesy of the gallant NA. Please disregard the fake alarm coming from the usual suspects - Sahara Reporters, that is.

Goodluck should demonstrate that he is in charge here. He should relieve several officers of their positions and give the new replacements an uneqivocal mandate to perform ... or else...

The story of bokoharam is one that will surely pass for a hollywood blockbuster.
From a bunch of rag tag dissillusioned almajiri's on motor bikes with petrol bomb's on the streets of bauchi and maiduguri suddenly transformed into a vicious well organised and well funded terrorist organisation within a space of four year's meets more than just the eyes.
Few year's back i don't think bokoharam could even face the Nigerian army for a gun duel that will last 5hrs . Who would imagine bokoharam will be able to capture and hold ground talkless of taking over a town.
These cold hearted babaric killer's are growing from strength to stregnth and yet the Goverment and our security establishments are turning a blind eye and downplaying the successes of these criminal's without taking decisive action.
This is not the time for apc vs pdp e fights nor a time for playing the blame game. This is when civil society groups and Nigerians from all works of life need to come together and pressure the Goverment to put a stop to this madness and make bokoharam and their sponsor's pay for their crimes and most importantly eradicate these killer's together with their medieval ideologies.
Terrorism has no place in these country and in the 21st century we should all come together and say no to terrorism.

The federal govt should use another method, since the boko boys are busy changing strategies. why not recruit and send Ebola victims to the war front instead of burning any disposing their bodies.
