The Legacy of Fashola and Tinubu will be outlined on this thread. As I learned on Nairaland Fashola is the greatest Governor to ever grace the Nigerian Political scene and in his honor we will now lay out his stellar performance on this thread.

Eti-Osa Lekki Toll Plaza
22-lane Admiralty Circle Plaza scheme is cost N50 billion all the money for the toll is a direct private sector investment expected to be recouped within a period of 30 years from the date of delivery and toll resumption.

This is great because if you want to live and work on the Island you have to pay to enter so this will keep broke people out.

BRT Buses

The first phase of the Lagos BRT was opened on March 24, 2008, although it was initially slated for opening in November 2007 (the initiative to build the system was initiated by the government of the previous governor, Bola Tinubu. It goes from Mile 12 through Ikorodu Road and Funsho Williams Avenue up to CMS. At current, the Lagos BRT Corridor is 22 km in length.

Two operators are offering their services to the Lagos BRT: NURTW Cooperative and LAGBUS. LAGBUS is an Asset Management Company owned by the Lagos State government.

They also rebuilt 26 bus shelters along the Mile 12-CMS road and three bus terminals.

Fashola's administration built one block of 24 classrooms in 8 years this was Iba Housing Estate Senior Secondary
School, Ojo. He said his administration had also returned schools to the Christian and Muslim missions, who owned them so they could save even more.
The block of 18 classrooms shown here was donated to the school by Mr. and Mrs. Modupe Folorunsho Alakija who paid for the entire building by themselves, saving tax payers millions.

Governor Fashola inaugurated the Ebute -Ojo Ferry Terminal and Ijegun- Egba Floating Jetty, as well as armoured patrol boats.
Since this is a commercial enterprise the building below is not part of his accomplishments but the security boats are all Fashola.
One day Lekki Free Trade Zone will open an the armoured boats will be useful grin

Over 300,000 young Nigerians gathered at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos, as well as other locations around the state, to participate in the World Record breaking Teeth brushing challenge. The challenge sponsored by leading oral care brand, Close Up toothpaste, in partnership with Lagos State government, Nigerian Dental Association (NDA), HEIT Solutions, Vas2Net & Core Media, saw various school students take part in brushing their teeth at the same time at different locations.

Well done your excellency it is better to have clean teeth then clean streets!

Fashola in 2007 shortly after he assumed office. sold Number 4, Oyinkan Abayomi (formerly Queens) Drive, Ikoyi: A 5-bedroom detached house on one acre of land which was originally the Lagos State Governor’s guest house since 1979, it now belongs to Tinubu. The certificate of occupancy of the property valued at N450 million was signed and released by Fashola.

Great job this is a man who honors his elders and godfather. Tinubu started 3 agencies and he almost finished the BRT scheme in his 8 years of course he deserves the Governors Lodge.

Your foolishness is epic!
So Fashola should be held responsible for bad BRT buses that are being managed by NURTW and LAGBUS?
So, by this GEJ should be held accountable for the bad SURE-P buses too?

You shouldn't be allowed near kids, else you infect them with stvpidity

Fashola gave Schools' Board directives to assemble these kids

Good gods! Why is the ratio of foolish people to the wise alarmingly high in this country of ours?

what do you mean by "got two schools", I schooled in the 90's in lafrograms and sonmori comprehensive was our next door neighbor. We shared a common wall. Was the school demolished and rebuilt

I think Lamata also started in tinubus era and not fashola. Even though I don't like tinubu, any credit for the transport development in Lagos should be credited to him.

Counter what?

When all 35 state governors refused to develop their states and most of their youths are in Lagos, why wont the state incur that much debt

If you are that wprried, then tell your state governor to do his job so your ppl wont be fleeing to Lagos in droves
