I remember when i use to hide in a quiet place fold a white paper like cigar and light it with lighter,then puff the smoke in the air,there was a certain time my mom caught me red handed and beat hell outta me i wouldn't forget that day,i remember vividly...

whenever my mom was not around I would sometimes take spoon and start taking milk and bournvita until one day I saw nescafe and I thought it would be like bournivita so I filled the spoon and put everything into my mouth. I almost finished the close-up in the house that day as I washed my mouth on per second billing. I told my mom some years later anyway we laughed over it.

I used to have grown ladies put a dot on my forehead with eye pencils , and they'd always take me where ever they went. They'd say I looked like a girl. A guy still refers to me as 'fine woman' til today

I remember once I tried stopping the rotating shaft on a blender with my thumb...I was foolish

I remember hating bathing in cold weather( Immediately after early morning rain in school), It was force that was used to make me bath. The dislike for it was so strong that I hate it up til now. ( As in, i struggle to bath during cold weather.)

Then I hated injections.... There was a day that they wanted to give injection to every kid in the house( Immunization I think), I ran to my room and locked it. Then they begged me with cake, I still refused to open the door. They had to lie that the Immunization people have left and immediately I opened the door, Some strong hands dragged my poor self and held me tight to make sure I struggle as little as possible as they gave me injection. I remember how I cried, the pain of it! They sha give me cake...lol

sandijey: Remember when I went to my mums village for the first time. I was a very chubby small girl. Was about 4 years or so. Those village children that always look dirty liked coming close to me. They were small, and only wore pant. I had never seen such before. Maybe I didn't think they were human beings cus I started pinching them. I didn't understand how they'd look like that. I just used to pinch them cus I was upset that they looked so unkempt. When I pinch them they start crying, I just remove my face like nothing happened. May God forgive me. I hated cutting my hair as a kid so each time my dad announces dat the barber would be coming, me and my siblings would rush to take our bathe. The barber would arrive on his bicycle only to find our hair wet making it impossible for him to cut dat day. We repeated dis exercise often until popsie found out.

I used to lick the last crunches of Maggi from the wrapper. l later got money to buy 3 cubes of Maggi with the intention of relishing the savour. To my surprise, I had to spill it immediately i realised the taste of a full Maggi cube was so unpleasant!!!!

Mine was no fun at all ooo bt punishment....on a saturday when mum has gone to work I nd my friend like brother inshort dem dey call us twin..and some neighbours where playing table tennis, unfortunately my friend played into the landlord's room tru the window...as a stubborn boy I pick our room key to unlock landlord's room...guess wat...d key got stucked after opening...it refused to close...omo five min later land lord came home wit plead he said he has forgiving us...wen mum came bck from work he rported us...at exactly 10pm wen most parent r asleep...mum woke I nd my twin brother(fake) wit enof beating...the annoyin part is MUM WAS BEATING ME ND AT THE SAME ASKING ME TO BE LAFFING abeg how is it possible wit. there is anoda one. I used 2 eat a lot when I was young and it was always obvious from d size of my belly whenever I finished eating. I was in d primary sch then and I was supposed 2 collect my result from sch on a certain day but food was not ready as at d time I was 2 leave but I left anyway since my home was very close 2 my sch. I waited over an hour but nothing was happening so I decided 2 go home 2 eat. I finished eating and went back 2 sch but 2 my amazement d results have been distributed and d teachers have even locked their offices.

As a naughty boy, the only thing that can reset me to default setting was my primary 5 class teacher, Mr Ojelade. Just mention the name and I'll be back in my shell sharp sharp.

i pray u find this silly act of ours funny. During my sec sch days, dia is dz fwend of mine, babatunde who will always leave d sch any tym my class is to be purnished u knw art class naw, and funny enough he always escape the rot of those teachers. There is this yung female corper that takes on english then and she gave us an assignment which nobody did in the whole of art class, she later went and report to our vice principal whom d whole sch considered the most wicked man in d sch. Twas one wednesday morning afta she had came to our class to threaten us that she's gna use it as our.. We just heard the sound of d bell and we were in d class playing wif psp wich blongs to one guy called olumide, tunde was d next to play as we heard the sound of d bell. We were amazed at the call and while still wonderin wat had happen, tunde was d first person to shout indo mie, cos there is always a day when dz indo mie people cumz to our sch to shr indo mie, we were so happy that those that had no sucks on even attended d assembly that day.. The v.p was d one that addresed us, i realized we were traped wen our v.c later discharged the whole of ss3,ss2 and ss1 science and commercial classes, and ordered that the labour prefect to fetch for healthy and yung looking canes,i was so afraid i had to punch dat tunde of a guy that i tot u said these pple re gna distribute indo mie..... We were given the indo mie noodles of our lives with strong canes that they, b4 i later left the school.

Hilarious comments...well, when I was a kid I had a fiend who always came visiting...one day my mum prepared eba and draw soup for us,I decided that we eat it together and then wen the soup got finished I encouraged my friend to swallow the dry sour eba without any soup, and he did!

I used to do hide and seek as a kid, it was my turn to go and hide, my friend closed his eyes, and was counting the numbers, I crawled behind our big curved chair in the sitting room and hid there waiting for my friend to fish me out. One way or the other I slept off behind the chair. The whole neighbourhood was awake till early the following morning with the cries and wailing of my mom who thought I had either gotten lost or been kidnapped. It was until hunger woke me up, I crawled out to ask for my food. My mom scooped me up, asked where I had been, and after my stories, landed the mother of all slap on my face.

I remember we used to call it 'hiding go seek' then, instead of hide and seek.

I could remember removing an electric bulb that was ON and dipping my finger inside d bulb holder just to find out wat was producing this light. U wan shoki I dance dat day??

Jackeeh: I used to hide lumps of eba either under d dining table or gum them behind the fridge n shout " mummy I've finished eating. See my plate is empty". And when d coast is clear, I'd remove them from were I stashed them n throw over the fence. Little did I know I was throwing them into someone's farm. One morning, someone knocked at our gate,and when it was opened, in came this man with all my supposedly swallowed garri that I had been throwing away. N I mean the whole lot of them, everything. I was mortified. And from then on,whenever I had garri as lunch,it would be under the strictest supervision. And then,making me finish even the smallest amount of eba was d cruelest thing u could do to me. But now I don't even get satisfied with a large amount of eba. Hmmmmmmm childhood!!!

So i was not the only one that did this as a child
How i struggled to eat eba those days and i used this ur trick, tho mine was hiding it under the table. Hahahaha

It was like a gang, we go around committing little neighbourhood crimes; broke people's glass windows, took off the bulb in people's bicycle to construct our own lights, lol. Riding spoiled bicycles down a hill was our hobby; nobody cared how dangerous it was.
*I preferred throwing stones at unripe mangos, to eating cooked food at home.
*Hunted and killed lizards just for fun! Lol
*Never got home directly from school, I'd hang around & mob the neighbourhood with my 'gang', committing all sorts of little crimes.
*Played football in the beside people's windows, and there's this wicked 'auntie' in every neighbourhood that like seizing balls, and I can't forget how hilarious we sounded everytime we try to beg for our ball. Sometimes when we don't get it back; we throw stones & cursed at her.
*Whoever lived in a storey-building 'had money'
*We would peep through neighbours' windows to watch films. We always got chased away, but we wouldn't go away. They most times results to measures like pouring water, sand, saliva on us just to drive us away.
*Cashew nuts, rubber bands had the same value as cocaine.
*Sitting boy-girl-boy-girl in school was the biggest punishment!...
Oh lawwd I could go on forever!! All the 'isi-okpukpu' boys can relate, lol. 90sbabies re d best generation!! I miss my childhood, I really do!!

dia is dz beautiful sister neighbour of mine den, she occupies a room wit her fwends which were most tym unclad and den call me in to send me on errands, there is dz basket wia she packed all her accesories lyk powder, cream, eyelash,lipstick etc, she calls it ''AJOGBA'' i do go dia to perceive d sceint of her lovely creams until dz faithful day,prior to dat tym i dont recodnize that cream called 'ABONIKI BALM'. I opened d first cream perceived d tin, e sweet i go close am open anoda perceive am close am until i perceived aboniki balm. O boy my eyes turn red water begin comot for my high, i dey stars, i begin dey cough... I quietly close it and moved out quietly, i no tell anybody my xperince..... Mumu mumu tin wen person small.
