regional government is truly better cause it would make most regions self dependent. CharlesPhc: President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the composition of a Presidential Committee to study and draw up the implementation strategy for the recently-concluded 2014 National Conference.

A terse statement issued on Friday in Abuja by the Assistant Director (Press) in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Oise Johnson, named the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohammed Bello Adoke (SAN), as chairman while the SGF, Mr. Anyim Pius Anyim will function as Secretary of the committee.

Other members of the committee are the Minister of Transport, Senator Idris Umar; Minister of State for Finance, Ambassador Bashir Yuguda; Minister of Aviation, Mr. Osita Chidoka; Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory Administration, Oloye Olajumoke Akinjide and Minister of Works, Architect Mike Onolememen

The committee’s terms of reference include studying the Report of the 2014 National Conference; articulating the recommendations therein and developing appropriate strategies for its implementation and advising the Federal Government on all matters necessary for the effective implementation of the Report.

The statement encouraged the committee to take off immediately.

Another means to chopulate our money.. My questions are these;
(1) What is the essence of a presidential committee to look into implementation? when Jonathan can simply ask to meet all the heads of all the confab committees for a detailed summary of their report, do the needful, and execute..
(2) Whatever happened to the committee on immigration recruitment deaths and its ilk and the contorted committee set up after to refund our #1000?

I mean i can go on and on.. Jonathan himself needs to sit down, remove his hat that is blocking breeze from aerating hs thinking faculties, drop his glass of flown-in bayelsan kai kai, and really try to critically think his way to solving issues..

Instead of lazy-doodlin responsibilities to un-necessarily formed committees who would form seriousness the first day, and chew balangu, kilishi and its ilk the rest of the committee meeting days.. Later giving us cooked reports!
