Comedian Bright Okpocha
better known as
Basketmouth, says people
who beg on the streets with
two hands and legs are lazy
people and should try to
think of what they can do
for themselves.
Explaining his challenges
through, Basketmouth
revealed that if he was not a
comedian, he would have
done something else that
could have made him better
than who he is today.
He revealed that he went as
far as taking the job of a disc
jockey just to survive in the
street which is even the
more reason why his jokes
are street base.
Basketmouth also disclosed
that he had to take standing
from Benin to Lagos in a
Luxurious bus just to come
to Lagos for shows, adding
that he owes a lot to Ali
Baba and 2Baba who
always support him with the
sum of N500.
Furthermore, he explained
that he earned N8.000 in his
first show in Jos which he
co-host with fellow
comedian, Julius Agwu.
He stated that he had no
room to sleep and had to
beg Julius to let him sleep in
his room and he had to
sleep on the ground.
