Jude Dorchman @olanokiotan , In reply to your question I want to let you know that Ibo is just a word adopted by the white men to describe the Igbos because they could not pronounce the Igbo word as in African/Igbo dialect so for them not to bite their tongues when pronouncing Igbo they adopted the simple pronunciation of Ibo which anyone can pronounce very well but the correct word is Igbo .

Hausa people speak Hausa and Fulani people speak Fulani , why are ibo people called Igbo and their language called igbo?
