As a graduate with Bsc certificate and a diploma certificate from the University of Benin,I decided using my diploma for the last two/ three months recruitment exercise conducted by the Nigeria Army.
As a young smart and strong girl, I thought with my experience I should be able to pass the aptitude test. Although the questions were very simple but my registration number was among the UNSUCCESSFUL applicants.
This recruitment exercise shows clearly that what the government wanted was our money (N1,000), if not they would have recruited more applicants that will be at least enough, for this year.
My testimony is to let the new applicants know that it's either God their father want them to be their or they have a godfather that want them to be there. If not, no matter how strong, tall, smart and courageous they are, YOU CAN'T BE THERE.

Okay...lemme consult Shekau if I shuld obtain d form or nt.

Chidexter: day one na wash. after writing 77ri exam which consisted of primary school questions I couldn't find my name in the final list of successful candidates, the same applies to thousands of us that wrote the exam they picked just 180 who would undergo d screening, this clearly shows the system is flawed. on the day the names were to b called 95 percent didn't hear their names, which led to some candidates agreeing to pay 100,000 naira each just to partake in the screening exercise. Imagine paying thousands for ones death

HONNESSTY: my brother i think the salary range should be between 45 to 50k. How can a country like nigeria pay its army that kind of small amount. Men and women that put their lives at risk just to protect nigeria sovereignty, it is a shame

MrAladin: Nigerian Army - This is to inform the general public and all interested qualified candidates that the online registration for the 72 Regular Recruits Intake for both Trades/Non Tradesmen and women will commence on 8 September 2014 and end on 18 October, 2014.

Nigerian Army Recruitment 72 Regular Recruits Intake 2014 for Trades/Non Tradesmen and
Women Basic Qualification Applicants must: Possess a minimum of 4 credits in not more than 2
sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.

One of the Credits must be in English Language. In addition to above qualification, those applying as tradesmen/women must also posses OND/Trade Test/City and Guild Certificate. Details are available on the website.
