Today, according to Capitol Hill Outsider, Dr. Brian Hooker of the Focus Autism Foundation filed a request through the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) seeking information on a 2004 CDC study that absolved MMR vaccinations as a cause of concern. That request put him in touch with, at that time, an anonymous whistle-blower at the CDC.

The controversy continues to rage over whether or not the MMR vaccine causes autism. While the CDC and mainstream scientific studies would have you believe there is no connection, other credible sources tell a different story. True to form, if any new information doesn't support the accepted conclusions of the scientific community, the media will largely disregarded it. They have done this with the revelations of whistle-blower Dr. William Thompson, senior scientist at the CDC. Who is the CDC? The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is the national public health institute of the United States. It is a federal agency under the Department of Health and Human Services.

Dr. Thompson is a Ph.D. scientist who was employed at the CDC for more than a decade. He is the author of multiple studies on the relationship between the MMR vaccine and autism. Until now, all of his studies concluded that there was not a relationship between the MMR vaccine and autism. Now he is saying that data was hidden and manipulated. Dr. Thompson knows that speaking out against the MMR vaccine is paramount to career suicide, but he’s doing it anyway. The motive for doing so is unclear.

It is bad enough to think how many children nation-wide have been affected by this vaccine, however, Dr. Thompson alleges that there is a significant connection between the MMR vaccine and regressive autism in African-American children. According to Dr. Thompson, hidden data reveals that black males are 340% more likely to be given an autism diagnosis when an MMR vaccine is given before the age of three. That's a pretty alarming statistic. One might ask why the media isn't jumping all over this. Maybe it's because the pharmaceutical industry will be upset if this story is told.

This isn't the first instance of government experiments on African-Americans. The Tuskegee Syphilis Study was one of the most atrocious scandals in American medicine in the 20th century. The United States Public Health Service carried out a clinical study on 400 poor, African-American men with syphilis from 1932 to 1972. During the study the men were given false and sometimes dangerous treatments, and adequate treatment was intentionally withheld so the agency could learn more about the disease. While the study was initially supposed to last just six months, it continued for 40 years. Close to 200 of the men died from syphilis or related complications by the end of the study. President Clinton apologized for the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment to the eight remaining survivors, May 16, 1997.

According to Age of Autism, "What we know at this point is that the CDC buried the knowledge of a significant increase in the risk of developing autism for African-American male children who received the MMR vaccine according to the CDC’s Recommended Childhood Vaccination Schedule. That one lie is responsible for at least 250,000 cases of autism in African-American male children. And that number is a gross underestimate of the true extent of the damage."

Covering up the evidence of an increased risk of significant harm from the MMR vaccine not only denied the scientific community the opportunity to design and carry out follow-up studies to find out why those children are at increased risk but also denied African-American families the right to make informed decisions about their children’s health care. It is especially infuriating when the information regarding the safety of vaccines for the African-American population may have been specifically targeted and manipulated.

It was recently revealed that Dr. Julie Gerberding (CDC director from 2002 to 2009), now an executive with vaccine maker Merck, took an active role in the cover-up. We also know the CDC has refused to turn over information to Congress. In a congressional hearing, U.S. Congressman Bill Posey (8th district, Florida) requested the documents from the CDC, but the CDC has stonewalled, refusing to turn over anything. This resulted in Congressman Posey calling for the CDC to be investigated. "The CDC can't be trusted regarding investigating vaccine safety," Posey said. "Huge conflict of interest. I think the CDC should be investigated."

It is rumored that the CDC held a meeting where its top decision makers said something to the effect of, "Oh well, it's only black babies being harmed by this, so let's bury the evidence and tell the world MMR vaccines are safe." Natural News hit the nail squarely on the head when they stated, "It's one thing to commit scientific fraud, deceive the public and withhold documents from a congressional investigation. It's another thing entirely to do so based on a racist agenda, knowing that black babies would be permanently harmed and handicapped by the CDC's actions."

It is true, and sadly they are attempting to hide it more in the American media. About being able to sleep after wrecking another person's life, I wish all humans had that mentality. Some human beings really don't have hearts. That's the kind of world we live in today.

If we lived in a perfect world, there would be no war, no violence, just peace. Sometimes one must question the human psyche.

Yep it does ring a bell my good friend Hbuyosh and it is mentioned briefly in that article.

From what I have read what happened was a decision to omit non Georgian residents from the studies which reduced the African American representation by 40%. This is not enough evidence to really say there is a definite link. I believe they need to do more studies probably solely concentrated on the African American population. In Japan they stopped MMR but autism still increased.
