All these people demonstrating hatred for snakes must be overly religious. You have been brainwashed with too much fake evil stories associated with snakes. I am sure you lots would hate cats too because you frequently hear stories like "Boy changed to cat" blahblahblah. People rear snakes the same reasons you rear chickens. Snakes taste like fish. Snakes in these farms are also used to create antidotes in case you eventually get bitten by a poisonous snake. They have save hundreds of lives.
