Now thats myopic from u. People rear snake 4 their poisons, where else or how else is their serum made from. Snakes are also reared for their skin and then u can talk about their meat.

I was in Doma local government Area of nasarawa state on saturday to discuss with my boss {sesame union chairman nasarawa state} regarding the upcoming sesame season, after then me,my boss and two others union member DECIDED TO visit a SNAKE FARM along abuja-keffi road and i was like wow....

My question is...what category did snake farm
belong? Poutry? Or what?

I think it's a good idea, make it somewhere accessible to transport and with a large market (close or in Lagos). Set up will be hard, a place to build a good facility which will be easy for tourists and cleaning are of the reptiles. Get a vet (there seems to a lot of them looking for work) to train your workers. Look for investors (agricultural companies are a start). You can also set up a snake-produce shop in the Snake farm (I've been told Igbo people use "snake venom" to treat ailments).

I hate mosquitoes and dislikes cockroaches but I fear snakes. It takes real gut to farm those stealthy creatures. I have a friend who's into reptiles in the US. I wonder what they want to benefit from it that would worth the risk
