A CLARION CALL: Is There Going To Be A Nigeria After 2015? by Nobody: 5:39pm On Sep 10, 2014
Day by day, minute by minute, we are gradually losing Nigeria to the dreaded sect Boko Haram. Since the insurgency started in 2009, Nigeria and mostly North-eastern Nigerians have not known peace .The security challenges posed by the dreaded sect Boko haram have made Nigerians usually wonder if there actually will be Nigeria after the 2015 election. Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country has in recent month experience all kinds of attacks by the sect Boko haram. And most alarming was the announcement of Gwoza and some other part of northeastern part of Nigeria as their new “Islamic caliphate”. One can’t help but wonder what the Nigerian army is doing about it aside claiming to be “on top of the situation”. Some of them still think all this claim by Boko haram is propaganda of war. But in reality can a sect wake up one day and claim part of the US as a new caliphate to the terrorist group? Of course not But if they do, they will experience heavy military presence and bombardment from the US military. But in Nigeria, reverse is the case with the Army Generals sitting down and folding their arms while Nigeria is gradually losing her territorial integrity. Gradually the security situation in the country has gone from bad to worse with no typical Nigerianhaving any intention of travelling to the north-eastern part of the country any time soon (for business, school Etc.) . The Nigerian military chiefs in reality do not seem to have the capability and will to finish the terrorist once and for all. Nigerian soldiers are complaining of inadequate weaponry. They say the weapons given to them to fight Boko haram is no match with that of Boko haram. Little wonder why Nigeria Soldiers retreat while some scamper for safety when being engaged by Boko haram. Report that soldiers decamp from the military is no news again. When the news that Nigerian army engaged /over- powered Boko haram and reclaimed Bama, many Nigerians were very happy but in reality is this the Nigeria that Obasanjo left behind? Is this the army he left behind?Of course not. The army he left was the best land Army in the world that can engage any terrorist group at any point in time. Slowly, steadily we are losing Nigeria to Boko haram. With the attitude of the Nigerian government, the war seems to be too far from being won. Instead of the Nigerian government coming out to launch a full scale war against Boko haram, the government is rather thinking of how to win the 2015 election. It should be noted that if the effort that the government are currently putting in order to fight Boko haram had being put in place in 2010 or 2011, Boko haram would have being history long ago. But the government have always being slow to respond immediately to the situation. But rather claim to be on top of the situation while Nigeria gradually dies down. Little wonder why it is taking too much time for the government to engage Boko haram once and for all. Today Federal government would be talking of amnesty, tomorrow they will be talking of making arrest. Since 14th march 2014 till date, the abducted Chibok girls remain in the hands of Boko Haram, and It don’t seem they would be set free any time soon. If care is not taken, very soon we shall see the whole of Nigeria falling apart to Boko haram. The southerners and westerners should not be surprised if they see heavy group of terrorist coming to claim a typical south western state like Lagos , forcing everybody to convert to Islam and imposing strict laws that even good Muslim cannot obey and then killing whosoever violates the rules. One thing the government fails to realize is that this could lead tous losing the whole of Nigeria. This insurgency could make part of northern Nigeria break away from Nigeria like South-Sudan/Sudan. This insurgency can cause a very terrible civil war in Nigeria, far greater than the Ojukwu era. Is it until Boko haram claims the whole of Aso rock before Jonathan and his teamwakes up from their slumber? What strategy should Nigeria put in place to defeat Boko Haram once and for all ?Are we going to fold our arms and watch Nigeria lose its territorial integrity to Boko haram? Is the Nigerian military capable of defeating Boko Haram? Is there going to be a Nigeria after 2015?
LETS HEAR YOUR OWN VIEW……………………………………………………………………………………………………………

South Africa still exist today because the whites in their wisdom knew that it was untenable to carry on as colonial masters even for 1 minute longer.

In Nigeria, those that believe it is their birth right to rule others while others are expected to quietly submit to their dominance and perpetually remain their slaves in their own land will either change this mindset to allow Nigeria survive or we shall all enjoy the glut together.

@Op, you and other millions of Nigerians are actually ignorant of what is happening in the case of bokoharam.

The truth is that bokoharam and other islamic terrorist networks is a worldwide islamic conspiracy to gradually force people to convert to islam.
I am not saying that you should believe me but gradually it will unfold before us.

So people should stop seeing bokoharam as just a problem of today to handicap GEJ, it is beyond that because all Northern moslem elites truely knws what they are doing.

It is beyond political affiliation as both those MOSLIMS in PDP, APC AND OTHER PARTIES ARE CO-SPONSORS OF THE ISLAMIC TERRORIST ORGANISATION.

Put your trust in Allahu.
And Nigeria will be saved.
If not, you will have yourself to blame.

Most of them dont understand what is realy facing us especialy from the Christian middle belt, down to SE, SS, including Cameroun down to Central Africa. A very big war is seriously looming by Islamic terrorism on the regions I mentioned above and majority of Muslim are inner closet supporters.

That is why I am very angry with most of our people down South, we are just relaxed, going our daily business, hustling and just pursuing money, while these Islamic terrorist are busy everyday undergoing training, getting better.

SOUTHERN YOUTHS WAKE UP, DONT JUST BE PURSUING ENJOYMENT, because WHEN THE MAIN SURGE BEGINS THEY WILL MARCH AND TAKE OVER DOWN SOUTH IN A MATTER OF DAYS. INFACT WHAT WE ARE FACING NOW IS NOT EVEN GEJ TILL 2019, THE PEOPLE WE ARE UP AGAINST ARE VERY WELL PREPARED WHILE WE ARE SLEEPING.

To be sincere the way am seeing Nigeria the future is bleak, am not happy sounding like this but am a realest first.

Islamic xpansionism is spreading like wildfire and its becoming more and more popular.
Boko haram in Nigeria have their spondors in both APC and PDP because religion is the common affiliation and domination the common goal.

Boko Haram is beyond Goodluck Jonathan, its a religious war and a prophecy comming into fufilment.

Every moslem is boko haram sympathizer despite his or her ethnic background.

We Christians in South are too relax and carefree as nothing is happening, we are just chasing papers without thinking whether the place we enjoy our hustle will still be available for us.

The best thing is for Nigeria to go their seperate ways and avoid shedding innocent bloods, let the north have and rule over themselves the way they like, let the East manage their affairs, let the West handle their businesses.

Onr thing i know next year is that, its either power return to North and we will have peace there but militanats will return to the creeks to renew their attack on oil facilities thereby causing untold hardship to Nigeria economy

or

GEJ won next year election and Boko Haram will get out of hand,(BH may not be a tool to fustrate Jonathan but i dont think Northerners can have the patience to wait for another 4years to take a shot)

Nigeria is sitting on keg of gunpowder, Jonathan cant handle Nigeria in 2015

Yes,Nigeria will continue to exist after 2015.
Nigeria will continue to exist at least for the next 1,000 years.

Break up? No way!! A divided Nigeria will be a disaster. More than 1,000 countries will be formed, all at war with each other.
Is the Nigerian military capable of defeating Boko Haram? Yes, Bokoharam shall be crushed!!!

One Nigeria!!!
