The purpose of this thread is to share those slang that are commonly used in your town so that others here would learn and know what they mean when they hear them somewhere, or when they visit your town, communicating with the people there wouldn't be a problem. There is nothing like visiting a place and blending with the peeps through language and communication. I be proper Warri guy so I go start with these:

'Kparo kparo' - it can be used to refer to either a girl who is from a poor family that depends on men for material things or a guy who doesn't have money and depends on friends to survive.

'Paro' or 'paraceed' - to be annoyed extremely.

'Pompu' - it means navel or belly button.

'Kpameki' - a loose girl.

'Oshere' - it is used to refer to one's girlfriend.

'Akpash' - strong drink such as local gin.

'You nor know the story?' - it means you should know everything and how it is done. It is actually a rhetorical question.

I will post more...

Let them roll in. Mods pls, you know what do to. Let's learn!
