MAIDUGURI IS MAIN TAKE-OVER TARGET OF BOKO HARAM
(If BH Takes & Holds Maiduguri Nigeria Is Officially At Civil War)

I commend the Nigerian Military for fighting Nigeria's existential war against Boko Haram. No armed conflict is cheap. Someone's child/parent/relative pays with lives and limbs. While our brave soldiers die for our nation some Nigerian cowards hide miles away and use cellphones to record 1 minute videos of any trucks or armored vehicles speeding in indeterminate directions. They post the 'trembling' videos online as part of their propaganda that soldiers are "running away" or not dying enough. Any Nigerian who feels our soldiers are not dying enough has our permission to sign up and join the military to save our villages.

Military victory takes time even for great military and nuclear superpowers like Russia and USA:
(1): Since 1994 (20 years) Russia has been fighting an Islamic insurgency in the Russian territory of Chechnya. Chechnya has 37,000 fighters. Russia has 1,037,000 fighters and 8,500 nuclear warheads.
(2): Since 2001 (13 years) USA/NATO military alliance have been fighting to crush Taliban insurgents in Afghanistan. Taliban have 60,000 fighters. USA has potential 2,200,000 soldiers and nuclear weapons. The yearly military budget of USA is $650 Billion. The entire economy of Nigeria is valued at $510 Billion.

Today is September 11, 2014 (13 years since al-Qaeda attacked the World Trade Center Towers in New York). We Americans have been fighting terrorists and insurgents before and since those infamous attacks. It is not over yet!!!

NIGERIANS MUST STOP CLAIMING THAT OUR SOLDIERS ARE NOT FIGHTING Boko Haram. Just because BH leader Shekau in not yet in chains does not mean our military is not fighting and dying. Our soldiers are killed and wounded daily. Front line troops and field commanders have families affected by each death. They need our support and prayers. You can support our military or join them to save your village or keep quiet. BE HONEST: If you are going to keep cheering for Boko Haram join Boko Haram. In the name of Allah/God or whatever you believe in, stop transferring your hatred of President Jonathan to our troops.

TACTICALLY, Boko Haram has been attacking and "occupying" Bama, Gwoza and surrounding towns. BH is also inflicting what seems like senseless brutality on villagers and, as some would say, on fellow Muslims. The brutality is not as senseless as it seems. There is a method to the madness. In fact the madness is the method. BH is intimidating the surrounding local populations and softening them up for future occupation. Because STRATEGICALLY Maiduguri is the REAL take-over target of Boko Haram. Maiduguri? YES AND YES, Maiduguri is BH's real target. Keep that in mind and may the Almighty help Nigeria because if Boko Haram takes over Maiduguri, then Nigeria is effectively in a state of civil war.

FORGET WHAT NEWSPAPERS/TEXTBOOKS SAY! HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Insurgency is about group or groups (usually weaker) attacking and hiding from legitimate authority/government. However, if an organized insurgent group can take -- AND HOLD TERRITORY FOR A REASONABLE LENGTH OF TIME -- the conflicts becomes a civil war: a war between two or more groups each of which controls operational territory within the same nation, while battling for supremacy.

REMEMBER: If Boko Haram can TAKE and HOLD Maiduguri city, NIGERIA is EFFECTIVELY a NATION AT CIVIL WAR regardless of what any person or officials say.
