The Deputy National Legal Adviser of All Progressive Congress, APC, Barrister James Ocholi has alleged that the former governor of Kogi state, Prince Abubakar Audu, has been secretly appointed as the Campaign DG for the re-election campaign of the State governor, Captain Idris Wada.


Ocholi,Speaking in Idah, Kogi state said that despite poor performance by Governor Idris Wada, the APC might not be able to defeat him in 2015 due to the anti party antics and the double dealing of the former governor. 

Ocholi speaking to Per Second News on Friday at the burial of the former Vice Chancellor at the Kogi state University, Professor Francis Idachaba , said that "It is an unfortunate situation that one or two persons who claim to be leaders of APC in Kogi State are frustrating the fortunes of APC in Kogi State.

"The incumbent governor is not doing well; I can say this before him. He has no idea of governance before he came. But it is unfortunate that some people like Prince Abubakar Audu who does not know when to throw in the towel has been canvassing for the return of Idris Wada. 

"Audu is already campaigning for Wada now, so he has become the campaign manager for Wada." He alleged.


In a  reaction, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Strategy, Jacob Edi,  said Ocholi is a  failure, whose experience Kogi people did not need.

"Ocholi's experience is experience of failure and if failure is an experience Kogi people don't need him.

"It is on record that Wada took a shot on governor and won at the first time and if he decides to run for second term he will win again because the people are happy at what he is doing, but let me say it again  that the people do not need the experience of failure to lead them.

"Wada made a success in his career as a pilot, but there are SANs and there are SANs,"he stated.

Meanwhile, Prince Abubakar Audu is livid that one of his former wife is actively involved in the re-election bid of Mr President at the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, TAN. According to a source he told the present administration not to deal with the wife as one of the criteria's for him to support the government.
