Calabar Man has been
arrested for Killing and
eating his domestic dogs. The
said man who has been in the
UK for about
a year now undergoing his
PhD program was
apprehended by Metropolitan
police officers in his
apartment, after his
neighbours called the
cops on seeing him beating a
dog.
gathered that a
search on his
apartment by the police
revealed that he had
frozen dog parts in his freezer
and the dog he
was seen beating was dead as
at the time the
police arrived.
He is hereby in police custody
and will be
charged to court for Animal
Cruelty, fighting
with a dog, intentionally
allowing a dog to
suffer and Mutilating an
Animal which could
land him a two (2) years
sentence and fine up
to £20,000 (about Five(5)
Million Naira) if found guilty
according to the Animal
welfare Act 2006, UK. In as
much as killing and eating
dogs is normal
in his native state in Nigeria,
we do not know
why this educated and
enlightened man will
not be able to overcome his
urge for 404 meat
for the three years he ought to
be studying in
the United Kingdom where
Animal Abuse is a criminal
offence.
