Nigeria is already divided along religious and tribal lines, religious majorly, the hate between Christians and muslims now is just unimaginable. Jeez I don't see how Nigerians can keep tolerating themselves for long anymore. ....I'm no prophet of doom but when people start backing themselves cos of religion other than facts then this country has a big problem. I just pray I won't witness the day this country breaks apart. Nairaland can ban me again for saying the truth, but I love this country cos I've got no other one and it's hurts to see people have real wars online cos of religion forgetting we are all Nigerians first.

Really? I don't think so. With all the tribal war? If we can't tolerate eachother now, who will preach togetherness to the coming generation?

In the case of Nigeria, I strongly believe that UNITED WE FALL, DIVIDED WE STAND. We are all a great people forced to live together as one nation: we are better off as neighbors. I think our leaders are scared of letting go because of the oil. They want to have unlimited access to it, but they fail to realise that nature has deposited some value in all the zones and I don't think any will suffer as a result of the split.

'cos of the present level of our civilization and development, Nigeria has outgrown any division into two halves, whether horizontally or perpendicularly. Divition into four equal parts, very good. This way, no chance will be given to coup plotters and saboteurs. Also, we shall be laying a good example of separation without bitterness for the world to see. Otherwise, I vote for United forever.
